What is the Golf Business Forum?

The Golf Business Forum is a unique platform for professionals involved in the golf business industry to meet, learn, exchange ideas and do business in an exciting and memorable event.

KPMG's Golf Advisory Services set out to create a unique international event that focused on the business around golf. With extensive research and much valuable input from the industry, the concept of the Golf Business Forum was developed.

The forums provide an invaluable opportunity for all individuals with an interest in the business of golf to meet and explore matters of mutual concern. The GBF has quickly established itself as the foremost golf industry event, where relationships are forged and business is done. The conferences last for two days and consist of:

  • Unrivalled networking opportunities
  • Keynote presentations from leading figures
  • Interactive panel sessions tackling different areas of the industry
  • Country focus sessions
  • Welcome reception
  • Gala Dinner
  • Networking lunches
  • Golf tournament
  • Sponsors exhibition
Since the event was introduced in 2004, KPMG has held six successful Golf Business Forums, embarking on the 7th in 2010. Each year, the Forum is taken to a different venue and location, such as Budapest, Prague, Cyprus, Ireland, Wales and this year to Turkey. Each destination offers a unique learning example for the golf market.

The Forum has continued to grow with each year, attracting a wider range of attendees from all around the world. The most recent Golf Business Forum was held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup.
