Golf Tournament

The KPMG Golf Business Forum Golf Tournament was sponsored by Club Car and took place on the New Course at Gloria Hotels and Resorts on Wednesday May 12, 2010.

The naturally beautiful New Course features an open, undulating, Mediterranean layout with beautiful manicured fairways, lakes and true-rolling greens.

In the true spirit of the game, the tournament was a 4- ball Texas Scramble team competition with a shotgun start at 12:00 midday.

To add excitement to your round, VPAR provided cutting edge live golf scoring throughout the competition, so you could see where your team was on the leaderboard, and Club Car sponsored a hole-in-one contest on the signature 17th hole.

As a special treat for our delegates this year, David Edwards, the king of golf trick shots, who entertains crowds across the world, hosted an exclusive, first class show at the Golf Business Forum before the welcome reception on May 12.

It was a unique opportunity to witness the world record holder performing his famous ‘scissor hands’ shots - hitting 310 balls in just three minutes.

Second Golf Event

If a delegate hadn’t had enough golf, this year the KPMG Golf Business Forum was offered an additional golf day in the afternoon of Friday May 14, following the conference’s closure, at Montgomerie Papillon Golf Club.

The event came to a close with a casual barbeque at the club house, to which all delegates were invited.
