According to the Turkish Golf Federation, the country also has ambitious plans to add more than 100 golf courses in the next 10-15 years and with recent changes to property laws regarding overseas ownership and potential future entry into the European Union, the development prospects for Turkey are extremely strong, which led to our decision to bring the event there in 2010

Antalya is the largest city on the Mediterranean, also known as the Turkish Riviera, offering over 300 days of sunshine, fantastic beaches, luxury hotels, a myriad of water-front bars and restaurants and great shopping. The 2010 Golf Business Forum was held in Belek, the fast and newly developing region in the South West of Turkey. Belek is situated just about 35 minutes from Antalya airport and is home to a number of golf courses and luxurious resorts.
